The men from mars are comming.

The 1 2 3 Greetings  web site says that today is"Mars Landing Day " 

..........so let's celebrate.  Wait  I'm still confused.  Are they landing here or are we going there?   
Where do we go for the party?  Will they be serving  "Mar's Bars" or what?

Need Fixing?

 Did you ever feel like you needed fixing? Has anyone  ever remotly hinted that there might be something wrong with you? Something that needed fixing so as to make you  normal like them? Society is so strange. People are strange. Perhaps that is  what God intended all along.  

Beginning this post  I had one idea in mind.  A letter from a friend - momentarily - got me all riled up.  It was as if I was on a mission.  I found the schriptures and was poised to let loose a tirant of comments on the subject.  

But then  the words of my last post  - just poped  into mind - and it was as if God was saying to me.... those with out sin cast the first stone.
  
Hummmm...... Guilty as charged  - Lord

The word.........?

Simplify........keep things simple.

Are you prepared?

Ever find you'r self sitting on that preverberal fence - just stagnating? Unable to choose one side or the other?  With out being too crass - there are only two sides.

What's so difficult in making the choice? In Deuteronomy  30:15-20 we're given the choices.  Life and Good or Death and Evil.

In Hebrews 12: 1-3 we are told to strip down - simplify - and run the race.  To keep our eye on the prize.

Are we unknowingly making life - too hard?
Are we traveling on the wrong road?
Do we even know - which prize we really want? At the end of the road?

Other wise we just might end up like those mentioned in  Reverlations 3: 14 - 22.

Ready -set- go......what goals would you like to see  met for this comming new year?

Instead of wanting to lose weight - how about becomming healthier- physically - mentally and emotionally?

Instead of living status quo- how about crossing the road and extending a helping hand to those in need?

Instead of complaining that we're being left behind - how about really listening to the others complaints 
and - then voicing our
 oppinions - where it really counts.   

Who knowes - maybe all the world is waiting
 on - is  A BETTER IDEA -  YOUR'S!!!!

It's all in the memories.

Yesterday was a good day. It seemed like ages since we've seen some of these people - then seeing others borought back all the warm and coziness of having the family get together in the first place.

Being the senior member there.....wow that feels strange saying that.....it was nice to catch up on how every one has grown through out the year.

I think every one had a good time. The men enjoyed their yearly poker game - the women shared and exchanged gossip here and there between the movies on TV and the Christmas gift ( wish lists ) were exchanged.

Now if someone can tell me what exactly is a game cube and where to get one - I'll be all set.

If not this year can we strive fore next year - to honor the differences between us and send together - in one voice - our love, thankfulness and joys( rather than fear, hate and mis-trust) that we've experienced here on this earth?

This is my Thanksgiving prayer - That we ( all of us - Man - women - child - red -yellow - black or white -Christian - Jew - Hindu - atheist -etc.) can be persistent enough to pursue the true inner passions of every sole on this earth an to be patient enough to wait for it to happen.

Sometimes we get stuck in our hurrying up to get to nowhere in particular. It's all rush - rush - rush. Then when we get there - blank - nothing - where do we need to hurry of to next?

The dreams - goals - wishes will always be there. They will wait for us. Why not slow down a bit and enjoy the view and the company along the way? It's been said that we should not fear the space between the dreams and the Reality. If we are still dreaming it........We can make it so.

There is less than 40 days till the New Year. What are some of your hopes, dreams,wishes.....Etc. And how much space will you plan to place between each one ....So as to enjoy the journey along the way?
